Job Summary
Performance Responsibilities
*Manage and direct transportation function for the public school system
*Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for school buses and other system vehicles
*Prepare and maintain all transportation records and reports
*Attend trainings needed to stay abreast of current procedures, policies and legal issues
*Maintain or assist with departmental budget
*Work closely with school personnel to schedule services
*Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of this position
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift at least up to 20lbs frequently and exert up to 20lbs of force occasionally as the job requires
